Rasheed Wallace no longer joining Lakers HC Darvin Ham's staff

It was reported in early June that former four-time All-Star and one-time champion Rasheed Wallace was going to be joining former Detroit Pistons teammate Darvin Ham on his coaching staff with the Los Angeles Lakers. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Wallace will no longer be taking the gig.

Ham was hired to be the Lakers next head coach in late May.

Since announcing his second retirement in 2013, "Sheed" has worked as an assistant coach with the Pistons, Charles E. Jordan High School in Durham, N.C. and the University of Memphis.
