Recent NBA 6th Overall Pick Still Remains A Free Agent
USA TODAY Sports

Jarrett Culver is coming off a year where he appeared in ten regular season games for the Atlanta Hawks

The former Texas Tech star averaged 4.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per contest while shooting 39.5% from the field.

In January, Culver was waived by the Hawks, and he still remains a free agent that is available to be signed by any team in the league.

Culver was initially the sixth pick in the 2019 NBA Draft after two seasons of college basketball.

He spent the first two seasons of his career with the Minnesota Timberwolves and averaged 9.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists per contest while shooting 40.4% from the field and 29.9% from the three-point range during his rookie season.

In addition to the Timberwolves and Hawks, Culver has also spent one season with the Memphis Grizzlies

His career averages are 6.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists per contest while shooting 40.1% from the field and 27.6% from the three-point range in 144 regular season games (he has also appeared in three NBA playoff games with Memphis).

Culver has also spent time in the G League, and last year he averaged 17.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 44.8% from the field and 29.9% from the three-point range in 23 regular season games (he also appeared in six Showcase Cup games and five G League playoff games).

Since the 24-year-old is such a recent top-ten pick, he could be a good signing for many teams on a minimum deal.
