The Golden State Warriors begin their postseason on Tuesday night as they host the Memphis Grizzlies in the Play-In tournament.
Of course, the winner of Tuesday’s game will clinch the seventh seed in the Western Conference playoffs and will advance to take on the Houston Rockets in the first round.
For the loser, they will face off against the winner of Wednesday’s matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings to clinch the eighth seed and face the Oklahoma City Thunder in round one.
Golden State will enter Tuesday’s game amid a recent hot streak as they ended the regular season winning seven of their last 10 games but they of course lost the last game of the season to the Los Angeles Clippers which knocked them into the Play-In.
They will now look to bounce back and clinch the seventh seed with a victory over a struggling Grizzlies team that has lost six of their last 10 games.
Ahead of Tuesday’s contest, the Warriors announced that their starting guard Moses Moody is listed as questionable due to back spasms.
An otherwise clear injury report for the Warriors. If Moses Moody is unable to go, that would — in theory — free up minutes for Jonathan Kuminga, who was a DNP-CD on Sunday.

I’d guess Steve Kerr would start either Gary Payton II or Quinten Post if Moody can’t play, though. https://t.co/dxL3bueGMs
This is an unfortunate injury for Golden State’s biggest game of the season thus far and if he is sidelined, expect Gary Payton II the fill in for him in the starting lineup.
Moody’s potential absence could also lead to head coach Steve Kerr having to make a difficult decision regarding Warriors young forward Jonathan Kuminga.
Kuminga did not play in Sunday’s loss to the Clippers due to Kerr’s decision to remove him from the rotation, which was an extremely surprising move.
While Kuminga was not in the rotation on Sunday, that may change against the Grizzlies, especially if Moody is sidelined.
Either way, Kerr has a tough decision to make with the Warriors’ season basically hanging in the balance.
Fans can catch Tuesday’s matchup between the Grizzlies and Warriors at 10:00 p.m. EST on TNT.
