The league announced earlier this month that the draft lottery will take place on Aug. 25. The draft was originally scheduled to take place on June 25 but was postponed by league officials due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Georgia Bulldogs guard Anthony Edwards has the best chance to be selected first overall with LaMelo Ball potentially being picked second.
While draft positions have yet to be determined, the Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves have the best odds to land the first overall pick in this year's draft.
In their latest mock draft, CBS Sports has Edwards being picked first by the Warriors to complement Stephen Curry and the Cavaliers taking Ball, stating that he's a "tier above" Collin Sexton and Darius Garland.
