The Philadelphia 76ers are dealing guard Jared McCain to the Oklahoma City Thunder for four draft picks, ESPN reported Wednesday.
McCain, the No. 16 overall pick in 2024, was playing a reduced role in his second season with the Sixers. He has averaged 6.6 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 16.8 minutes over 37 games (one start).
Philadelphia is acquiring the Houston Rockets' 2026 first-round draft pick and three future second-round selections, per the report.
The defending champion Thunder lead the NBA standings with a 40-11 record.
The trade deadline is Thursday at 3 p.m. ET.
A 21-year-old Duke product, McCain finished seventh in Rookie of the Year voting last season despite being limited to 23 appearances (eight starts).
He averaged 15.3 points, 2.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 25.7 minutes in 2024-25 until a left knee injury ended his season in mid-December.
