The potential additions for the Los Angeles Clippers just keep getting older.
They are already expected to be the oldest team in NBA history during the 2025-26 season with an average age of 33.2 years old.
The team was always going to be a bit on the older side with Kawhi Leonard and James Harden as the Clippers' biggest stars.
The offseason additions of Chris Paul and Brook Lopez were just what really pushed the squad into "order Life Alert" territory.
Even after aging up, they're still being connected to more aging former All-Stars.
The other day, it was a trade idea that would see them bring DeMar DeRozan over from the Sacramento Kings.
Now they're getting interest from an aging former All-Star.
According to ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel, Utah Jazz forward Kevin Love would be interested in playing in LA if he is bought out by the Jazz.
Siegel said, "Word around the league surrounding Love is that he wants to end up in Los Angeles, sources said. There were some rumors that Love would want to go to New York, although there doesn't seem to be much interest brewing from the Knicks. Both the Clippers and Lakers still have one open roster spot."
Love is no longer the player he was while making finals runs with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers and he certainly isn't the double-double machine we saw in Minnesota. However, he could still give the Clippers decent minutes off the bench.
Love can still stretch the floor. He shot 35.8% from three last season. He's also still a solid rebounder, grabbing 4.1 rebounds per game in just 10.9 minutes.
The Clippers still don't have a ton of depth down low, so they could use another big body for their rotation.
Love isn't going to be a huge difference maker at this point in his career, but he could give the Clippers a couple of short shifts a night without costing them too much. They could do a lot worse for the last spot on their roster.
