Report: Five Wizards players test positive for COVID-19

The Washington Wizards have not played a game since Jan. 11 against the Phoenix Suns due to COVID-19 issues. It appears their problems with the coronavirus are getting even worse.

According to The Athletic's Shams Charania and Fred Katz, five Wizards players have tested positive for the virus.

It is not known which players have contracted COVID-19. However, Rui Hachimura and Moe Wagner were listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Utah Jazz due to health and safety protocols.

Wednesday's game against Utah was eventually postponed. Washington's game against the Detroit Pistons on Friday was also postponed.

The NBA has called off several games this season due to COVID-19 protocols. Washington's most recent opponent, the Suns, have their next three games postponed due to contact tracing.
