Report: Jamahl Mosley, Darvin Ham, Wes Unseld Jr., Charles Lee among finalists for Wizards HC job

The Washington Wizards have reportedly narrowed down their list of head-coaching candidates.

The Wizards have certainly done their due diligence this offseason. In addition to the reported finalists, Sam Cassell, Chris Fleming, Chris Quinn and Ronald Nored have also met with Washington's front office.

Ham has been with the Milwaukee Bucks as an assistant since 2018 after playing for the franchise from 1999-2002. The 47-year-old has played a crucial role in the Bucks' NBA Finals run this season.

Lee has also been an assistant for the Bucks since 2018.

Unseld Jr. began his coaching career as an assistant for the Wizards in 2005. He remained with the franchise for six seasons before joining the Golden State Warriors, Orlando Magic and Denver Nuggets.

Mosley has spent the last seven seasons as an assistant with the Dallas Mavericks. He was a candidate for the Dallas head coaching job before the Mavs hired Jason Kidd.

The Wizards and former head coach Scott Brooks parted ways in June after his five-year contract came to an end. He led the Wizards to a 34-38 record this season, and they made the playoffs as the No. 8 seed. The 55-year-old went 183-207 as head coach of the Wizards and 10-14 in the playoffs.
