Report: Nuggets guard PJ Dozier is 'feared' to have torn ACL

The Denver Nuggets are already down Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr. and reigning MVP Nikola Jokic, among others. Now, they can add PJ Dozier to the list.

Murray -- the team's starting point guard -- hasn't played yet this season, as he is recovering from a torn ACL. Porter Jr. -- another starter -- is out for the foreseeable future after suffering a back injury in early November and Jokic is listed as day-to-day with a wrist injury, but hasn't played in any of the last three contests.

Dozier is in his third year with the Nuggets, after playing two games with the Oklahoma City Thunder during the 2017-2018 season and six with the Boston Celtics the following campaign. The 25-year-old set career-highs in points per game (7.7), rebounds per game (3.6) and minutes per game (21.8) last season across 50 contests, including six starts.

In 18 games off the bench this season, Dozier is averaging 5.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 18.9 minutes and has posted a 36.4/31.3./76.9 shooting line.
