Report: Victor Oladipo turned down two-year, $45.2 million extension from Rockets

Victor Oladipo's short time with the Houston Rockets could come to an end very soon.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Oladipo turned down a two-year, $45.2 million extension from the Rockets. The 28-year-old is reportedly pursuing a longer-term deal, which is something Houston can't offer him until the offseason due to the current CBA.

Earlier this season, Oladipo was involved in a four-team deal that sent him to Houston. Some believe he could be traded again before the March 25 deadline.

"Some around the league" think Oladipo could be a candidate to sign with the Miami Heat in free agency, according to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer. The New York Knicks have also shown interest in the All-Star guard.

Oladipo is averaging 19.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game this season while shooting 40.3% from the field and 32.3% from deep. He'd be a solid addition for any championship contender.
