Report: Warriors believe Andre Iguodala will return after injury-filled season

The Golden State Warriors believe forward Andre Iguodala plans to return for his 19th season, but the official word will come on his podcast, NBA insider Mark Stein reported.

If he returns, Iguodala, 38, would become the NBA's second-oldest player, behind only 42-year-old Udonis Haslem of the Miami Heat.

Iguodala has been silent on his plans for next season. The Warriors are holding a roster spot for their veteran leader, a four-time NBA champion, while he recovers from an injury-filled season that limited him to 31 games.

Like Warriors teammate Draymond Green, who made waves by podcasting after the team's playoff games last season, Iguodala is building his media career. He hosts "The Point Forward" podcast with former NBA player Evan Turner, and has said that's where he'll announce his plans.

Iguodala is among a growing number of players who spread the news about their careers without going through a journalist.
