Report: Warriors interested in Bulls forward Otto Porter Jr.

The Golden State Warriors are looking to upgrade before the NBA trade deadline later this month, and it appears they have their sights set on one player who hasn't quite lived up to the hype since he was drafted.

According to Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer, the Golden State Warriors are interested in bringing in Chicago Bulls forward Otto Porter Jr., who could be bought out.

Since being acquired by the Bulls from the Washington Wizards during the 2018-19 campaign, Porter has only played 45 games due to ongoing back issues. Still, he could provide the Warriors with some much-needed depth.

The 27-year-old is averaging 11.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and two assists per game while shooting 44.4% from the field and 40% from deep.

Porter will become a free agent this offseason, so if he is moved to another team like the Warriors, he can be let go after the season.
