RJ Barrett's Viral Quote After Knicks-Raptors Trade

On Monday evening, the Toronto Raptors are hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers in Canada.  RJ Barrett, who was recently traded (via the New York Knicks), made his debut for the Raptors.  Before the game, the former Duke star met with the media, and one of his quotes went viral on social media.  Barrett: "I grew up a Raptors fan all my life, so to come here and put this jersey on it's gonna be great." Barret, who is from Toronto, was the third pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and had spent his entire career with New York.  He helped lead the franchise to the NBA playoffs in two of the previous three seasons, and is currently averaging 18.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists per contest while shooting 42.3% from the field and 33.1% from the three-point range in 26 games.
