Rob Dillingham on Joan Beringer

Rob Dillingham is entering his second season in the NBA, and he is glad to have Joan Beringer alongside him.

Dillingham had previously praised Beringer’s impact behind the scenes, and now this has translated into real games – at Summer League at least.

Speaking postgame, Dillingham said: “Don’t even need to explain, y’all see it. It’s been like that since the first day.

“We are super proud of him. He’s going to be something special for sure.”

Dillingham was pleased with his whole team’s performance, winning 98-91 against the Pelicans.

He added: “Everybody running the floor, playing defense, playing scrappy, that’s how we got it done.”

How Rob Dillingham fared

Amid the excitement over Joan Beringer, Rob Dillingham’s performance flew under the radar.

The 2024 draft pick scored 15 points, but his shooting from the field was inefficient, just 4 for 14. This did include a more efficient 3 for 6 from three.

Terrence Shannon and Leonard Miller both scored 20 points each, and with Beringer, that was four players who hit double figures.

Dillingham added in his postgame interview that he is targeting the title at Summer League, and his team are off to a promising start.
