Robert Horry believes Lakers should trade Austin Reaves

Robert Horry was a key piece of the Los Angeles Lakers winning three straight championships in the early 2000s.

Horry has been retired from the NBA since 2008, but that hasn’t stopped him from giving his opinions on today’s NBA. He recently spoke about what the Lakers should do with Austin Reaves.

“If the Lakers are smart, they would do a sign-and-trade. And the reason I say that is because when you have a team with two players, who are pretty much the same, meaning Luka and AR, I’m not saying they have the same skill set, they play the same position, pretty much do the same thing — it’s a wash. Don’t get me wrong, I love AR, but you don’t need two of the same players.”

The Lakers appear to be one small move away from becoming true title contenders. Is trading Reaves the answer?
