Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets continued their success in the 2025-26 NBA season on Monday, taking down Devin Booker and his former team, the Phoenix Suns, 100-97. And on Wednesday, the Rockets looked to make it two straight wins, hitting the road to face the Portland Trail Blazers.
Durant has continued his success in his first season with Houston. The former Texas Longhorns star was averaging a team-high 25.7 points on 52.0% shooting, 5.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game, prior to Wednesday. From July 16-19, Fanatics Fest will offer fans “over four action-packed days, with more than 500 athletes and celebrities joining the biggest sports brands, hundreds of trading card dealers and every major league under one roof.” The event will also feature numerous star athletes in attendance, including several NBA players such as Durant, including:

Durant also attended the 2025 Fanatics Fest, where Nike unveiled his KD 18 "Seattle Sonics" shoe, which was inspired by his rookie season. But while he awaits his return to the event, Durant and the Rockets will continue their season on Friday with another matchup against the Trail Blazers.
