The Cleveland Cavaliers are down 2-0 to the Indiana Pacers in the second round of the playoffs. They were up 118-112 with 48.0 seconds left in regulation in Game 2 before the Pacers went on an 8-0 run to win the game.
Indiana All-Star Tyrese Haliburton hit the game-winning 3 against the Cavaliers, who played Game 2 without Darius Garland, Evan Mobley and De’Andre Hunter. Garland is dealing with a left big toe injury, Mobley has a sprained left ankle and Hunter has a dislocated right thumb.
Mobley and Hunter got hurt in Game 1, while Garland hasn’t played since Game 2 of the Miami Heat series.
Former Cavaliers star Ron Harper, who won five championships during his career, isn’t happy that Garland, Mobley and Hunter missed Game 2. The Ohio native voiced his frustrations on X.
@cavs I’m sorry but down 1 and you’ve 3 of your best players sit out…. I don’t understand today players please help me cause in no way I’m missing a playoff game down 1 at home…. Tell me your thoughts

We’ll see if Garland, Mobley and Hunter play in Game 3. If the Cavaliers lose Game 3, their dream season is over, as no team in NBA history has ever come back from a 3-0 series deficit in the playoffs.
“We can sit here and dwell on this and be home in about four or five days or we can move on,” Cavaliers star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell said. “And take some things that we did really well and go from there. I have no doubt everybody in the locker room is ready for Friday. It sucks. It stings. But we got to go out there and take care of business, but I believe in everybody in that locker room. We believe in each other. We’ll figure it out.”
