It’s been 11 days since Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19, and the coronavirus continues to impact his life in a big way.

On Sunday, Gobert shared that he hasn’t “been able to smell anything for the last 4 days” and asked if others afflicted by COVID-19 have experienced the same issue.

Overall, Gobert hasn’t been hit with the dangerous symptoms that the more vulnerable among us are susceptible to. The 27-year-old All-Star was the first pro athlete to test positive for COVID-19. His positive test led to the NBA suspending its season and was the first of many dominoes to fall in the sports world.

Since then, Gobert made a point of using his experience to make the public aware of the serious nature of the coronavirus pandemic after initially failing to do so himself.
