Russell Westbrook Makes Personal Announcement on Thursday

Denver Nuggets guard Russell Westbrook enjoyed quite a successful 2024-25 NBA season.

The legendary guard may be in the latter years of his illustrious career, but he found a way to be impactful alongside Nikola Jokic.

In year 17, Westbrook -- who built the early years of his career on athleticism and explosiveness -- averaged 27.9 minutes per game and started 36 of his 75 games played.

The Nuggets guard contributed to winning and building the culture within the Denver locker room.

It was just an odd year for the club, though. They seemed to have an odd rhythm all season before firing head coach Michael Malone and Calvin Boothe in the final week of the regular season.

Westbrook, still, felt like a stabilizer alongside Jokic -- providing a spark on many occasions.

The future Hall of Fame guard and former MVP winner will have a decision to make this offseason regarding the next franchise he represents.

Those decisions take time, however.

In the meantime, Westbrook has made a personal announcement.

Westbrook's Honor the Gift, founded in 2016, has announced their 2025 summer collection.

"Summer 2025. This one’s straight from my roots. That city energy you never forget. Bold graphics, throwback vibes, real stories," Westbrook shared on X. "From me to you. Available now."

Westbrook has enjoyed quite the career on the hardwood, but his impact off the court has been heavily in his philanthropy and fashion -- two passions of the all-time guard.

Fashion, in particular, has been a creative outlet for the Nuggets guard. Having his own company in the line of fashion only makes sense, and the offseason is a perfect time for Westbrook to lean into that passion.

For now, the Nuggets guard will announce and launch his summer line. Later on, it'll be time to decide which franchise he will represent, if any, during the 2025-26 NBA season.
