The San Antonio Spurs and Center Luke Kornet agreed on a four-year $41 million contract Monday night. He averaged 6 points and 5.3 rebounds during the 2024-25 regular season with the Boston Celtics. Kornet joins a San Antonio Spurs team that will have lofty expectations heading into the 2025-26 regular season. He will get to play alongside Point Guard De’Aaron Fox, No. 2 overall pick Dylan Harper , and Victor Wembanyama. Kornet will be a crucial part of San Antonio’s bench alongside reigning Rookie of the Year Stephon Castle. San Antonio has improved dramatically, and it is still early in free agency.
