Score Predictions for Hornets at Clippers
USA TODAY Sports

Schuyler Callihan: Clippers 118, Hornets 100.

The Hornets are reeling and barring some unforeseen elite shooting performance, I don't see them getting off the schneid anytime soon. Clippers win this one going away.

Prediction record: 9-6.

James Plowright: Clippers 113, Hornets 103.

The first game of Charlotte’s six-game road trip might be their best chance of a win. The Clippers have struggled without Leonard who is listed as questionable. My gut says LA will try and take care of business against Charlotte with Kawhi to give him the extra rest. If Charlotte lose this one, it might not win again until 2024.

Prediction record: 13-3.

Will Eudy: Clippers 116, Hornets 102.

The Hornets’ difficult road trip begins in LA, where they’ll face a Clippers team that has really turned things around after starting the James Harden era on a five-game losing streak. Charlotte will still be without LaMelo Ball and Mark Williams, and LA will be down Kawhi Leonard. Unfortunately, the Clippers’ deep roster will likely prove to be too much in this one.

Prediction record: 14-8.
