Schuyler Callihan: Kings 124, Hornets 95.
The Hornets are down bad right now. No LaMelo Ball. No Mark Williams. No Gordon Hayward. And there's a good chance they're without Terry Rozier again (illness). I hate to say this in early January but at this point, it's about the development of Brandon Miller, Nick Smith Jr. and the other youngsters more than it is about the final score. Kings win big.
Prediction record: 12-6.
James Plowright: Kings 133, Hornets 105.
Charlotte is on the road, missing four starters, on the second night of a back to back against a team who doesn't have a single injury. The losing streak will end eventually, but I would be shocked to see it be in Sacramento who have played well recently. The good news is at least Nick Smith Jr. will continue to garner some extended playing time, that's about as positive as I can be right now.
Predictions record: 15-3.
Desmond Johnson: Kings 120, Hornets 95.
Boy, between the Hornets and Panthers, the city of Charlotte is going through a rough time in pro sports. Hornets are missing four starters. Four. The Kings are on a two-game win streak and the Hornets will struggle to find offensive rhythm all night. Hornets lose their 12th straight on Tuesday.
Predictions record: 7-7.
