Score Predictions for Hornets at Knicks
USA TODAY Sports

Schuyler Callihan: Knicks 120, Hornets 110

Any night without LaMelo makes it incredibly difficult for this team to win, much less hang around. New York comes out of the gates red hot and gets out to a big lead at the half. Charlotte will make it look closer than it actually was. Knicks by ten.

Prediction record: 5-4.

Will Eudy: Knicks 121, Hornets 110

Life will be difficult for the Hornets without LaMelo Ball in the lineup. Charlotte was gradually improving thanks in part to LaMelo’s high-level play the last several weeks. With him sidelined, Terry Rozier will likely assume starting point guard duties. It will be very difficult for this team to come out of Madison Square victorious without their best player.

Prediction record: 7-4.

Atticus Ferguson: Knicks 125, Hornets 112

In now their third matchup on the season, the hornets are yet to play the Knicks with anything that closely resembles a healthy roster. Sadly, tonight is no different. Lamelo Ball has been the engine to the Hornets offense this season, even moreso than what we’ve been accustomed to in the past. No Lamelo and no true backup center with the absence of Nick Richards, and I have a tough time seeing Charlotte pulling the upset in the Garden.

Prediction record: 5-2.
