Score Predictions for Hornets at Nuggets
USA TODAY Sports

Schuyler Callihan: Nuggets 123, Hornets 110.

Call me crazy, but I think the Hornets keep this one somewhat close. Charlotte was shorthanded for their first matchup with Denver a little over a week ago, yet won three of the four quarters. If it weren't for a disastrous third quarter, they probably win that game. Denver wins, but it's not a complete blowout.

Prediction record: 11-6.

Will Eudy: Nuggets 120, Hornets 101

Down LaMelo Ball and Gordon Hayward, and likely playing without Mark Williams and now Terry Rozier as well, the Hornets will find themselves up the river without a paddle. Facing the defending champions on their home court, it is hard to see them keeping things as close as they did in Charlotte nine days ago. Denver wins by double digits as the Hornets continue looking for their first win on this road trip.

Prediction record: 16-8.

Desmond Johnson: Nuggets 130, Hornets 109.

The Hornets are a walking mash unit. We would probably hear more about the Hornets' losing streak if it wasn't for the Pistons historic 28 straight losing streak that recently came to an end. The defending champs blow out the Hornets, who will be lucky to break 100 missing four starters to injury.

Prediction record: 6-7.
