Schuyler Callihan: Spurs 116, Hornets 108.
The Hornets played with almost no enthusiasm or intensity two nights ago and Steve Clifford ripped them for it and rightfully so. I don't see this team changing their approach 48 hours later for a road game against a six-win team. LaMelo Ball or not, I like the Spurs. Good luck trying to stop Wemby.
Prediction record: 14-7.
Ian Black: Hornets 120, Spurs 112.
LaMelo Ball likely returns to the lineup tonight after missing 20 games, giving Charlotte a much needed boost. This will also be the first time we get to see Brandon Miller vs Victor Wembanyama! This is a winnable game against a young team for the Hornets, hopefully Ball looks comfortable out there.
Prediction record: 4-0.
Philip Trapp: Hornets 113, Spurs 108.
Coming off losses to the Bulls and Kings, the Hornets (8-27) have only won three of their last 20 games. But here, they face a Spurs squad that, despite the presence of Wemby, is dead last in the West (6-30). Of course, we still have Hornets injuries to worry about. But if another 30+ point performance is imminent from Terry Rozier, the Hornets should be able to pull this out.
Prediction record: 3-1.
