Scottie Pippen is revealing his version of the Chicago Bulls' dynasty and how things fell apart for a team that won six titles at will. The forward is releasing a new book in November, where he will touch several topics, including his time with the Bulls, his relationship with Michael Jordan and his thoughts on last year's 'The Last Dance' docu-series.

Pippen and Jordan are arguably the greatest duos in NBA history. After spending most of their careers with the Chicago Bulls, they developed a great relationship that led this team to win six championships in eight years.

Scottie, however, didn't like how he was portrayed in the award-winning docu-series and now is ready to tell his side of the story. The 6x NBA champion revealed he's releasing a book later this year on Instagram, asking fans if they're ready to hear his version of this tumultuous story.

Publishing company 'Simon & Schuster' gave more details about the book, revealing the description, sharing some interesting particulars about the upcoming memoir.

Scottie Pippen has been called one of the greatest NBA players for good reason.

Simply put, without Pippen, there are no championship banners—let alone six—hanging from the United Center rafters. There’s no Last Dance documentary. There’s no “Michael Jordan” as we know him. The 1990s Chicago Bulls teams would not exist as we know them.

So how did the youngest of twelve go from growing up poor in the small town of Hamburg, Arkansas, enduring two family tragedies along the way, to become a revered NBA legend? How did the scrawny teen, overlooked by every major collegiate basketball program, go on to become the fifth overall pick in the 1987 NBA Draft? And, perhaps most compelling, how did Pippen set aside his ego (and his own limitless professional ceiling) in order for the Bulls to become the most dominant basketball dynasty of the last half century?

In Unguarded, the soft-spoken, six-time champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist finally opens up to offer pointed and transparent takes on Michael Jordan, Phil Jackson, and Isiah Thomas, among others. Pippen details how he cringed at being labeled Jordan’s sidekick, and discusses how he could have (and should have) received more respect from the Bulls’ management and the media.

Pippen reveals never-before-told stories about some of the most famous games in league history, including the 1994 playoff game against the New York Knicks when he took himself out with 1.8 seconds to go. He discusses what it was like dealing with Jordan on a day-to-day basis, while serving as the real leader within the Bulls locker room.

On the 30th anniversary of the Bulls’ first championship, Pippen is finally giving millions of adoring basketball fans what they crave; a raw, unvarnished look into his life, and role within one of the greatest, most popular teams of all time.

Scottie and Michael had excellent runs with the Bulls, as we saw last year in 'The Last Dance.' The documentary centered on the Chicago Bulls' dynasty was a huge event last year during the first months of lockdowns thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We got to know more about their relationship, how they made the Bulls one of the best franchises in the league and the most famous sports team in the world, but we also watched how complex the relationship between players was.

During and after the release of TLD, many people had something to say about the documentary. Rumors surfaced suggesting Pippen was mad at Jordan and that his relationship wasn't good. Yet, Pippen shut down all those rumors, saying they will be friends forever

MJ has the utmost respect for Pippen, and he's always made it clear that he did what he did because he had Scottie by his side. It still would be interesting to see what the Arkansas native has to say in his book, but we'll need to wait until November to do so.
