It's not a secret that Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen aren't on the best terms now, and it's highly unlikely that they'll ever make amends anytime soon. Following a successful tenure with the Chicago Bulls, this pair seemed to be incredibly close, but things have changed in recent times.

In the past couple of years, Scottie has opened up on his relationship with Mike, claiming he felt disrespected by His Airness and the way he treated his teammates during their championship runs. This created some issues between the former Bulls, with Scottie going off on MJ whenever he had the chance.

Many people, including Charles Oakley, have stated the relationship between Pippen and Jordan is pretty much over after the former's attacks on No. 23. The former duo had the chance to reunite in Cleveland last weekend, where the top 75 NBA players of all-time gathered at the All-Star Game.

Pippen, like many other legends, couldn't attend the ceremony, only appearing in a video. This instantly sparked speculation from fans, and somebody started looking for an answer to this. 'Lord Zito' of the Pat McAfee Show took to Twitter to offer an explanation for Scottie's absence.

He said that Pippen didn't travel to Cleveland since he didn't want any smoke from Michael Jordan.

Of course, this is unconfirmed and more of a joke from Zito than anything, but it's not so hard to do the math and come to the conclusion that Pippen was better off at home than seeing his former friend in front of so many legends and fans.

Jordan looked in great spirits during the ceremony, joking with his peers, challenging Michael Jordan to a 1-on-1 game, greeting LeBron James and wishing him good luck, and also hugging Luka Doncic. He made it from the Daytona 500 to Cleveland right on time and had a blast at both events.

Pippen just sent the video to the league, thanking them and fans for the support. It would have been interesting to see him and Jordan interacting. That would have gotten a lot of interest around the league. Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen drew a lot of attention during the ceremony. Imagine how crazy it would have been with Scottie and Mike at the same building.
