Scotty Pippen Jr. tallies triple-double, leads Grizzlies to NBA Summer League Championship appearance

Scotty Pippen, Jr. erupted for a big-time performance just went the Grizzlies needed it on Sunday. His timing couldn’t have been any better. The former Vanderbilt star stuffed the stat sheet with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Memphis defeated the LA Clippers in NBA Summer League action, 99-98.

The Grizzlies also got big-time performances from GG Jackson (20 points, four rebounds, four assists) and Jaylen Wells (28 points, three rebounds, two assists) in punching their ticket to the NBA Summer League Championship Game.

They’ll face off against the winner of the Miami-Golden State game. The 2024 NBA Summer League Championship Game will be on Monday, July 22nd at 8:00 PM EST. The game will be televised on ESPN.
