Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the biggest star in the NBA Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers, and the reigning league MVP is known for both his on-court and off-court style.
On the court, he embraces physically, has bought back the midrange, and is the best scorer in the league while playing excellent defense.
Off the court, he is known for his style, and he is a signature Converse athlete.
The Converse SHAI 001 was designed heavily with Gilgeous-Alexander's input, and it will be for sale later this year, with prices starting at $130.
SGA is easily Converse's biggest star, and he serves as the Creative Director of Basketball. His SHAI 001s will debut this fall for purchase, although he has already rocked them on the court.
The initial colorway is "butter," a yellow-green shade, with the entire shoe being the same color. Converse announced a new colorway, dubbed "Masi Blue" to pay homage to Shai's brother, Thomasi.

Masi Blue doesn't quite match the Thunder's jerseys, although it is expected to be very popular in Oklahoma City.
Thomasi Gilegous-Alexander played junior college and DI basketball, averaging 2.3 points over two seasons for the Evansville Purple Aces.
Shai was seen wearing the new color while warming up to prepare for the NBA Finals.

While $130 is pricey, even for signature basketball shoes, SGA's growing popularity in both the US and Canada is expected to drive sales, and the unique zipper design should draw some positive attention.
