As the Oklahoma City Thunder hosted the Denver Nuggets in a Game 7 that wasn't as competitive as fans would've hoped, the Thunder were able to win dominantly with a final score of 125-93.
Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon entered the game for Denver with a lingering hamstring strain, and it played a big role in them tiring out in the final game of the series.
It was another impressive performance from MVP hopeful Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, filling the stat sheet with 35 points, three rebounds, four assists, three steals, and a block.
There were other factors that helped the Thunder slip through the Nuggets' hands in the one-sided game.
Jalen Williams finished with 24 points, five rebounds, and seven assists, while Chet Holmgren had 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Oklahoma City had 11 different players score in the game and held Denver's Nikola Jokic to just 20 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists.
As the Thunder's lead man had yet another impressive game, it seemed as if he had a near perfect game.
Shooting 63% from the field while hitting 3-of-4 three-point shots, he was also able to finish with zero turnovers.
Gilgeous-Alexander set a Thunder postseason record for the most playoff games with 30 or more points and zero turnovers, according to Polymarket Hoops.

It's an impressive feat, considering former Thunder stars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook played in far more postseason games for Oklahoma City.
Gilgeous-Alexander achieved the milestone in just 28 games.
After winning the series over the Nuggets, the Thunder will now look to play the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals.
Game 1 of the series will take place on Tuesday, May 20 and the Thunder will stay in Oklahoma City as they have home court advantage.
