Shaq has harsh comments about Klay Thompson-Megan Thee Stallion relationship

Shaquille O’Neal is putting a countdown timer on one of the highest-profile romances of the summer.

On the latest episode this week of “The Big Podcast with Shaq,” the retired Basketball Hall of Famer O’Neal spoke out on the fledgling relationship between Dallas Mavericks five-time NBA All-Star swingman Klay Thompson and Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion. Instead of sending his well wishes to the couple, O’Neal predicted that the romance would not last.

“Six weeks,” said O’Neal when the topic was brought up by co-host Adam Lefkoe. “Six weeks.”

O’Neal also shook his head ‘no’ when asked by Lefkoe if he believed the relationship would last into the fall.

Klay, 35, and Megan, 30, went public with their new relationship earlier this month. Since then, the two have been packing on the PDA and have even been giving each other some extremely pricey gifts.

For O’Neal, 53, he has definitely been around the block over the years and knows how things work in the sports and entertainment industry (particularly since both Klay and Megan have some extensive public dating histories). After all, we did also hear in the earliest days of the Klay-Megan relationship that the two would be dating for “at least” the summer.

But O’Neal’s comments this week about Klay and Megan might be partially borne out of jealousy. You may recall that O’Neal himself appeared to shoot his shot with Megan during an Instagram live stream several years ago (only for nothing to ever come out of The Diesel’s long-range attempt).
