Shaquille O'Neal Calls Out NBA Over Nuggets-Clippers Decision

The Denver Nuggets and LA Clippers are set to square off in Game 3 on Thursday night.

Through the first two games of each series, the NBA Playoffs have delivered. The league posted its best opening weekend for the playoffs in over two decades and ratings are up in a big way from just a season ago.

The first two games of the Nuggets' series against the Clippers have been nothing short of entertaining. Each game has been decided by just one bucket.

After a hard-fought two games in Denver, the series is now headed to Los Angeles, as the Intuit Dome will host its first playoff game on Thursday night.

The atmosphere is going to be remarkable as Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and the rest of the Nuggets' squad aim to silence the crowd and secure momentum in the series with a big win.

While fans are in for a show in the Clippers' arena, the NBA made an unfortunate decision that'll short fans across the league.

On Thursday night, both Game 3 of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies series, along with the Nuggets and Clippers, will be on at the same time.

Unfortunately, the Thunder and Grizzlies will be on TNT, aired nationally, while the Clippers and Nuggets will be on NBATV.

Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley take issue with this, too, like many other fans of the league.

“Are y'all serious right now… y'all got the best series going on NBA TV," Barkley said.

O'Neal then followed up Barkley's rant with one word to the NBA: "Reschedule."

While the league likely isn't going to change the schedule on the whim -- with the scheduling having taken place before any series tipped off -- it's certainly unfortunate fewer fans will have their eyes on the most entertaining series in the playoffs right now.
