Shaquille O’Neal joins Sacramento State as men’s basketball GM

NBA legend and host of TNT’s Inside the NBA, Shaquille O’Neal, has agreed to become Sacramento State’s men’s basketball GM.

The role will apparently be an unpaid, voluntary role for Shaq. This shows his dedication to the game of basketball and not the money.

The new head coach of Sacramento State is former Sacramento Kings guard, Mike Bibby. The two used to battle in the NBA, but now they come together to turn Sacramento State’s program around.

The team struggled last season, finishing 7-25 and landing at the bottom of the Big Sky Conference. With Shaq and Bibby now stepping in, the men’s basketball program shows promising potential for improvement.
