Shaquille O’Neal Makes Prediction on Warriors vs Rockets Minutes Before the Game Starts
Ricardo Brazziell / USA TODAY NETWORK

Former NBA champion and superstar Shaquille O'Neal predicts the winner of the series of the Golden State Warriors vs Houston Rockets. Golden State has won three of the five matchups this season. Shaq makes two predictions as he made one after the play-in game with the Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies and minutes before Game One.

"When these guys have to focus they always find a way to get it done. Jimmy Butler's first time playing with this team in a playoff situation can turn into playoff Jimmy. I like Golden State over Houston because of experience; I like the experience over youth," said O'Neal.

Shaq was consistent with the Warriors winning the series as he strongly felt like the veterans of the Warriors would be key in the game. The Rockets have been one of the league's biggest surprises this season. They play fast, aggressive, and fearless, they play with a level of intensity that's hard to match but their inexperience has shown in moments of pressure.

For Houston to upset the battle-tested Warriors, they'll need to combine their athleticism with smarter execution and mental toughness which are traits that only come with experience. Regardless of the outcome, this series will shape up to be a thrilling contrast in styles and era as it will be a reminder that while talent gets you to the playoffs, it's an experience that often decides who survives.
