A set of six Chicago Bulls championship rings were auctioned off on Thursday for a combined $255,840, according to TMZ Sports.
The rings originally belonged to longtime Bulls security guard John Capps, who worked for the team from 1966 until his death in 2018.
Here's what each ring sold for:
Capps was considered a Chicago legend, developing a strong relationship with Michael Jordan, among other Bulls greats. He also was featured in ESPN's "The Last Dance."
Auctions like this don't come around often, so it's no surprise people pounced on the opportunity to own a piece of history.
