Skip Bayless continued his long-standing criticism of LeBron James, calling him out for not practicing during the offseason.

Skip Bayless has built an entire career on being critical of LeBron James. For almost his entire career, Bayless has taken aim at the Los Angeles Lakers star.

Bayless constantly calls out LeBron for not being clutch, comparing him to Michael Jordan any chance he gets.

Even when James gets injured, Skip turns it into a negative. It feels like no matter what he does, LeBron can’t do anything right in Bayless’ eyes.

Bayless is relentless, even going after the King during the offseason, as he now has a huge problem with LeBron’s latest off-court interest.

Skip Bayless says LeBron James should work on free throws instead of golfing

LeBron James sent a congratulations message to golfer Tommy Fleetwood for winning the PGA Tour championship.

“Congrats and [Salute] to Tommy Fleetwood! That first one feeling is something else! Especially after dealing with adversity and shortcomings. Too fire!”

Not willing to let his new interest slide, Skip Bayless took to X to respond to LeBron James, telling him to practice his free-throw shooting rather than watching golf this offseason.

“LEBRON: Shouldn’t you be in the lab working on your free throws instead of wasting your time watching your new obsession – golf???”

It’s odd that Bayless would make a harmless post about a new interest from James and use it as ammo to take digs at him. But this has become very much a part of the Skip Bayless playbook.

Hilariously, Bayless would later send his own congratulatory message to Fleetwood over his monumental win.

The King focused on potential final season with LA Lakers

Over his career, LeBron James has done an excellent job of not acknowledging Skip Bayless and his criticisms. In fact, James has never spoken Bayless’ name in media circles. Expect that to continue.

For now, LeBron James is focused on entering his 23rd NBA season while representing the LA Lakers, even though his future with the team is highly uncertain.

There were signs of turmoil between the two sides when LeBron James took his $52.6 million Lakers player option, rather than opting out and re-signing a new contract like he had before.

It became clear that James is no longer a fixture for the Lakers, as Luka Doncic has taken that role. The Lakers will reportedly let James walk in free agency next season.

Hopefully, James and Doncic get the chance to compete for a championship together in what could be their only complete season together as teammates.
