Skip Bayless Calls Victor Wembanyama’s Performance a Response to Wolves’ ‘Bullying’

The 74-year-old analyst specifically mentioned Naz Reid, who was involved in Wemby’s controversial elbow that sent him to the floor. 

“27/17/5 with 3 blocks was for Naz and Co.”

While the majority agreed with the ref’s decision to eject Wembanyama from the court in Game 4, only a few questioned it. Bayless was one of them.

“Come on, don’t throw Wembanyama out of Game 4,” Bayless wrote on his X.

“They were all over him, fouling the h** out of him. So he got frustrated and fought back. Just ridiculous.”

In response to all this outcry, Wemby responded with a dominant display on Tuesday night, putting the Spurs in the driver’s seat with a 3-2 series lead.

A lot of anticipated on the Wolves guard as well. After returning from the injury, Anthony Edwards has continued to improve his contribution to the team. 

Tonight, Antman took up the Wemby responsibility on his shoulders, guarding him on multiple occasions. Although he clamped the big man on several occasions, it was Wemby who won the battle.

Speaking after the loss, Antman acknowledged the Wolves’ struggle in keeping the big man silent.
