The Boston Celtics just won Game 3 and are now one win away from the NBA Finals this year. Their recent victory has many convinced that a sweep against the Indiana Pacers will occur, including NBA analyst Skip Bayless.

Just recently, the Celtics went home with the 114-111 victory over the Indiana Pacers at their own home court. Jayson Tatum went berserk by making 36 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists while committing no turnovers in almost 44 minutes on the court. Jaylen Brown added 24 points on 55 percent shooting from the field. Meanwhile, Jrue Holiday posted 14 points, nine rebounds, three assists, three steals, including the final two plays of the game that sealed Boston’s win.

The Pacers, on the other hand, didn’t have All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton due to an injured hamstring . Instead, Andrew Nembhard tallied 32 points, four rebounds, and nine assists to lead Indiana. Myles Turner and Pascal Siakam each had 22 points, while T.J. McConnell dropped 23 points from the bench.

The win helped Boston come closer to returning to the NBA Finals after they lost to the Golden State Warriors in 2022. Indiana’s loss, however, has placed them in a 0-3 hole, a situation no team in the NBA has ever gotten out of.

NBA Analyst Skip Bayless Convinced Boston Celtics Will Sweep Indiana Pacers After Game 3 Win

After the game, various personalities have given their take on the Celtics’ victory. Among them is Undisputed host Skip Bayless in a post he shared on X:

“That’s it. Celtics sweep like Hoovers,” Bayless wrote.

At this point in time, there has been no team in the NBA that has risen out of a 0-3 hole. With the way Tatum and company are playing, it’d be pretty hard to go up against the squad with the best record in the league. Add Haliburton’s absence due to injury and the result of this series is all but sure.

Game 4 is about to be played soon and there’s no word yet whether Haliburton is going to play. If he won’t it looks like Bayless’ prediction will come true.
