Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton played eight minutes on Sunday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder before being forced to exit the game.

Haliburton, who has been sensational in the NBA Finals so far, was coming off a solid Game 6 on Thursday. The 25-year-old guard recorded 14 points and five assists, along with two steals, to help the Pacers get the 108-91 win.

In Game 7, as both the Pacers and Thunder battled for the championship, Haliburton was able to put up nine points before being forced to exit with a lower-body injury.

With five minutes remaining in the first quarter, Haliburton fell to the floor while trying to make a play for the Pacers. He appeared to suffer a leg injury and was in obvious pain as a team staff member checked on him.

A slow-mo video of his injury soon surfaced, and it showed something snapping in his right leg.

The severity and the exact nature of his injury have yet to be determined. However, the Pacers ruled him out of the game, citing a right lower leg injury.

It is worth noting that Tyrese Haliburton suffered a right calf strain in Game 5 of the NBA Finals series against the Thunder. There were concerns that the All-Star point guard could miss Game 6 because of the issue, but he fought through it.

It is unknown if his previous injury has a connection with his latest health setback, but there are definitely concerns given it's in the same right leg.

Sure enough, fans are hoping that it's not a serious injury. Others, meanwhile, couldn't help but be concerned about Haliburton.

"praying it isn’t serious," a commenter wrote. Another one said, "jesus. prayers up for him but was it shaq or chuck that said he shouldn’t play cause this would happen?"

"Gutted for him. Pushed himself to the limit throughout the series for his team," a third supporter shared.
