Spread & Over/Under Predictions for Hornets at Bucks

Each game day, we at All Hornets will release an article on our thoughts on the spread and the over/under of Charlotte Hornets games. The star ratings next to the play describe the overall confidence in that particular play.

Spread: Bucks -14.5

3 Star Play on Bucks (-14.5): The Bucks are second in the league in scoring and are back home after a two-game road win streak against playoff teams, and they have already beaten the Hornets by 30+ twice this year. While I think the Hornets can keep it closer than 30 points, after struggling to score against Portland, it won't get easier playing a high-scoring Bucks team at their home. 

Over/Under: 220.5 

2 Star Play on Under 220.5: Charlotte's defense has improved greatly since the trade deadline, but the offense has struggled to score past two games. That combo of good team defense and low-scoring offense makes me think this under is more likely. There is always a chance the Bucks run it up, and their defense keeps Charlotte in it, but I see Charlotte's scoring troubles continue, which is why I lean under.
