Each game day, we at All Hornets will release an article on our thoughts on the spread and the over/under of Charlotte Hornets games. The star ratings next to the play describe the overall confidence in that particular play.
Star ratings:
1 Star - Not very confident
2 Star - A little confident
3 Star - Fairly confident
4 Star - Very confident
5 Star - Should be a lock to happen
Spread: Pacers -9.5
1 Star play on the Pacers (-9.5): Tyrese Haliburton, Myles Turner, Benedict Mathurin, and Jalen Smith are all questionable for this one and with the Hornets being considered a lock for a win, I'd be surprised if all four played. That being said, it won't matter all that much. They still have others that can score the rock, most notably Bubby Hield who dropped 25 on the Hornets back in late December. The questionables are what keeps this thing at a 1 star play.
Over/Under: 236.5
1 Star play on the over: Even with all of the potential star power that could and will miss this game for both teams, the over seems like the right play here. It has cashed in four of the last six for Indiana and four of the last five for Charlotte. The total has also gone over the number in seven of the last ten meetings between the two and in nine of the last eleven that were played in Charlotte, for what it's worth.
My picks this season
ATS: 14-19 (42%)
O/U: 17-16 (52%)
Overall: 31-35 (47%)
