Victor Wembanyama dominated on both ends with 19 points, 15 rebounds, and seven blocks as the Spurs cruised past the Grizzlies 123-98 on Wednesday night.

From the opening possession — a lob dunk to Wembanyama — San Antonio set the tone and never looked back. The Spurs raced out to a 22-4 lead and carried a comfortable 57-44 advantage into halftime before blowing the game open in the third quarter.

Devin Vassell matched Wembanyama with 19 points, while Stephon Castle and Keldon Johnson added 15 points apiece. In all, seven Spurs players scored in double figures in a balanced offensive effort.

San Antonio leaned heavily on its size advantage, outscoring Memphis 56-34 in the paint and dominating the glass with a 59-33 rebounding edge. Wembanyama punctuated the rout with a three-pointer at the end of the third quarter, pushing the lead to 98-64.

The victory marked the Spurs’ seventh straight, keeping them within striking distance of the Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City Thunder, who saw their 12-game winning streak snapped earlier in the night by the Boston Celtics.

Memphis, meanwhile, continued to struggle amid a rash of injuries. GG Jackson led the Grizzlies with 20 points, while Olivier-Maxence Prosper added 17 and DeJon Jarreau chipped in 15.

The Grizzlies have now lost four straight and 12 of their last 13, with injuries decimating the roster. Ja Morant, Zach Edey, and Brandon Clarke are all out for the season following medical procedures, leaving Memphis severely undersized — a disadvantage that was glaring against the 7-foot-4 Wembanyama.

Up next: The Spurs wrap up their road trip against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, while the Grizzlies return home to face the Houston Rockets on Friday night.
