Two superstars in the National Basketball Association could be on different teams in the summer.

Kevin Durant and Giannis Antetokounmpo are both in trade conversations. San Antonio is projected as a destination for both, but it looks like Durant may be better for the Spurs than Antetokounmpo. According to the ESPN’s Shams Charania, Durant and the Spurs had mutual interest at the trade deadline. Both sides could come to an agreement over the summer, especially with Durant (36) being less costly than Antetokounmpo. Per Charania, Durant would cost the Spurs significantly less in assets.

Durant, a two-time NBA Champion, is still at the top of his game. The two-time NBA Finals MVP, 15x All-Star, four-time scoring champion, and 11-time All-NBA team selection scored 26.6 points per game this season for the Phoenix Suns.

Victor Wembanyama is a rising star, but adding Durant would be huge for the Spurs.
