If Giannis Antetokounmpo requests a trade from the Milwaukee Bucks this summer, the San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, Atlanta Hawks and Oklahoma City Thunder are considered landing spots for the future Hall of Famer.

NBA insider Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report did some intel gathering at the combine in Chicago to identify the five most realistic destinations for Antetokounmpo.

The Bucks have won only one postseason series since winning the 2021 championship against the Phoenix Suns.

Antetokounmpo doesn’t have a no-trade clause in his contract, so if he requests a trade, the Bucks can send him anywhere.

Since winning the championship in 2021, the Bucks lost to the Boston Celtics in the second round of the 2022 playoffs, lost to the Miami Heat in the first round of the 2023 playoffs and lost to the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the 2024 and 2025 playoffs.

Antetokounmpo is one of the best players in NBA history. He’s a two-time MVP, a one-time Finals MVP, a one-time Defensive Player of the Year and a nine-time All-Star with career averages of 23.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.2 blocks.

The Bucks signed Antetokounmpo to a three-year, $175 million extension in October 2023. Antetokounmpo, 30, will make $54.1 million next season.

A future Hall of Famer, Antetokounmpo averaged 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.2 blocks for the Bucks this season in 67 games. He’s an MVP finalist alongside Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic

Several NBA agents believe Antetokounmpo will request a trade from the Bucks this offseason, per Pincus. Only time will tell if that happens.
