The Spurs have guard/forward Chaundee Brown Jr. one day after signing him, according to the NBA transactions log.
Brown, 23, is 6-foot-5 and appeared in five games last season as rookie — three with the Hawks and two with the Lakers. Both clubs signed him to a two-way contract after he went undrafted out of Michigan in 2021.
He spent most of his time with the South Bay Lakers of the G League, averaging 15.2 points and 4.8 rebounds in 30 appearances.
There is a good chance he is headed back to the G League, this time with the Austin Spurs, San Antonio’s affiliate.
