The Spurs have added a pair of training camp players, signing free agent big man Micah Potter and guard Adam Flagler, per the NBA official transactions log and reporting from Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot.
Potter, 27, is a 6-foot-10 forward/center known for his ability to stretch the floor. He spent the past three seasons on two-way contracts with the Jazz, but with four years of NBA experience, he is no longer eligible for a two-way deal. While contract terms were not disclosed, Potter’s agreement is believed to be a non-guaranteed training camp deal that could include Exhibit 9 and Exhibit 10 language.
He appeared in a career-high 38 games for Utah last season, averaging 4.3 points and 4.3 rebounds in 18.6 minutes, while shooting 42 percent from the field and 32 percent from beyond the arc.
Flagler, 25, is a 6-foot-3 shooting guard who won an NCAA title with Baylor in 2021. He spent the past two seasons in the Thunder organization and was on a two-way contract for all of 2024-25. He played in 37 games last year for the eventual champions, averaging 5.5 minutes, and missed several weeks with a broken bone in his right hand.
Flagler’s Exhibit 10 contract could be converted to a two-way deal, though the Spurs do not currently have a two-way spot available. If he is waived before the season but spends at least 60 days with the G League’s Austin Spurs, he would be eligible for a bonus worth up to $85,300.
San Antonio’s roster now stands at 19 players, two shy of the offseason limit.
