Spurs to Take on Heat Without Jimmy Butler, Here's What You Need to Know
© Sam Navarro-Imagn Images

The San Antonio Spurs, coming off a dominating 144-118 win over the Milwaukee Bucks, will look to win both games in the back-to-back. They are staying at home in their last game before the Rodeo Road Trip and will take on the Miami Heat, who beat them in an earlier matchup, 128-107.

In that game, Jimmy Butler scored only eight points. He was recently suspended indefinitely by the Heat for being a distraction to the team while he demands a trade. The Spurs will instead take on first-time All-Star Tyler Herro, who scored 18 points in the earlier matchup.

Keep it posted to Inside the Spurs for all the latest news, ranging from odds (via FanDuel), injury reports for both teams and TV information.

In the last matchup between the Spurs and Heat, rookie Kel'el Ware scored an impressive 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds. It's becoming apparent that the Heat could use him as a franchise center moving forward, especially as Bam Adebayo continues to regress.

Expect Victor Wembanyama to come out of the gate hot, although his shooting efficiency will likely take a dip as the Spurs are tired from their blowout win last night.
