San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama arrived at the Kaseya Center on Monday, ready to extend the team's winning streak. Before their contest against the Miami Heat, the Spurs had a dominant 134-119 win against the Indiana Pacers. It was San Antonio's fifth consecutive win, their second five-game win streak in March.

The Spurs faced the Heat once in the 2025-26 season, and they secured a 107-101 victory. In the contest, Wembanyama could not be contained as he finished with 27 points, 18 rebounds, six assists and five blocks.

On Tuesday, it's more of the same for the big man, as he showed how dominant he is on the floor.

Wembanyama led the Spurs to a 136-111 win and was dominant on the floor. He had a team-high 26 points on 11-for-22 shooting. The two-time All-Star also had 15 rebounds, four assists and five blocks. The Spurs star did all this in under 27 minutes of action.

Before the game started, Wembanyama had 3,997 total points and 598 blocks. With his performance, he reached a career milestone with 4,000 points and 600 blocks. He could've also joined the 200-steal mark, but he only had one steal against Miami when he needed two.

Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson commented on Wembanyama's milestone after the contest.

“He's something we haven't seen. And I thought he was really, really sharp tonight...I thought he left his fingerprints prince all over the floor on both sides of the basketball in various manners,” the coach said

Johnson also continued to campaign for the Frenchman for the MVP award. In the latest update for the prestigious award, Wembanyama is at No. 3 after being at the second spot the previous week. Luka Doncic of the Los Angeles Lakers had a scoring barrage last week that earned him the spot over the Spurs star.

This season, Wembanyama has risen to the Spurs' leader. The big man has collected 1,385 points and could surpass his career-high of 1,522 points during his rookie season. San Antonio has benefited from the NBA star, as they have captured a 54-18 record, the team's first 50-win season since the 2016-17 season.

Wembanyama and the Spurs are starting to prepare themselves for the playoffs. It will be the first time for the 22-year-old to play in the postseason, as well as for other young players on the team like Stephon Castle and Dylan Harper.
