Steph Curry Made NBA History In Warriors-Kings Game 7
USA TODAY Sports

On Sunday afternoon, the Golden State Warriors are in Sacramento facing off against the Kings at the Golden 1 Center for Game 7 of their first-round playoff series.

During the game, Steph Curry made NBA history by moving up on the all-time playoff scoring list.

The two-time MVP came into the day with 3,756 career playoff points, which ranked 14th on the list.

He only needed 21 points to move ahead of Hall of Famer John Havlicek (3,776) for 13th.

The following player for Curry to pass on the list will be Larry Bird (3,897)

Via the NBA: "Stephen Curry of the @warriors is now 13th all-time in Playoff scoring"

Curry has been excellent through the first two quarters of the game, as the Warriors face a possible elimination.

The nine-time All-Star is in his 14th season in the league (all with the Warriors) and has led them to the NBA Championship in four out of the previous eight seasons.

He has had another sensational season, and through the first six games of the series is averaging 31.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists while shooting 47.8% from the field and 37.5% from the three-point range.

The winner of Sunday's game will advance to the second round of the playoffs, and face off against LeBron James and the Los Angles Lakers (Game 1 will be on Tuesday evening).
