Steph Curry watched on as Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors improved to 34-38 on the 2025-26 NBA season after taking down Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks in overtime 137-131 on Monday. Now, the Warriors have completed their six-game road trip, heading back to the Bay Area to take on Michael Porter Jr. and the Brookly Nets on Wednesday.
Curry has remained one of the better players in the NBA during his 17th NBA season. The former Davidson Wildcats guard is averaging 27.2 points on 46.8% shooting, 3.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 39 games played. However, Curry has missed the last 22 games for Golden State, dealing with patellofemoral pain syndrome and bone bruising in his right knee. But after nearly two months out, he is nearing a return to full-team practices.
Amid his injury recovery, Curry had some exciting news to share about his Underrated Golf Tour, which was founded in 2019 and held its first events in 2022. Partnering with LPGA Tour professional Mariah Stackhouse, the tour aims to “provide access to the opportunities the game brings both on and off the course.” And season 5 of the golf event in the United States is set to begin this Summer.
Underrated Golf Tour has also expanded internationally with its European Tour over the last couple of years, offering opportunities for young golfers across the UK and Europe. This includes events in locations such as England's Foxhills in Surrey and Scotland's St Andrews. And on Tuesday, Curry was joined by former Real Madrid star Gareth Bale to announce season 3 of the Underrated Golf European Tour, which will once again take place in England, this time at The Belfry, home of the British Masters.
"Opportunity and access are at the core of Underrated Golf," Curry and Bale said. "In 2024, we brought the Underrated Golf Tour to Europe, and what we saw was incredible. New talent, new communities and a level of competition that continues to rise. This year marks year 3 of our European expansion and we're just getting started. Expanding globally doesn't happen without real partnerships. United Airlines has helped make this access possible, connecting athletes with opportunities across continents.
"And now, we take the next step. Season 3 of the Underrated Golf European Tour starts now. And I'm very excited to present our Underrated Golf European Tournament to you. This year, we're going to the four-time Ryder Cup host and the home of the British Masters, the Belfry. Golf is taking me all over the world, seeing young athletes get that same opportunity this early. That's powerful. Europe is ready. Let's get to work. This is year 3 in Europe. The mission continues, the competition gets better and the opportunity gets bigger."
While Curry awaits his upcoming Underrated Golf tours, the Warriors will be back in action against the Nets on Wednesday at 10:00 p.m. ET.
